Can I use the La Roche-Posay Vitamin C10 Brightening Serum with Retinol?
No, the Vitamin C10 Serum cannot be used with retinol in the same routine as the vitamin C face serum is formulated with 10% pure vitamin C and salicylic acid. Retinol should not be mixed with vitamin C as both ingredients work at different pH levels, which may nullify their effectiveness on the skin. Retinol should also not be used with salicylic acid in the same routine as they are both exfoliating skincare ingredients, with similar effects which might lead to adverse reaction to the skin or may increase sensitivity of the skin
